GRAPHIC COLLAGE_1

Graphic Collage_1 is a creative project by Filippo Piantanida Studio that explores the fusion of photography, digital art and graphic collage, reinterpreting old Vogue covers as pure visual inspiration. Through this work, Piantanida pays homage to the editorial history of fashion and shows how materials rich in identity can be transformed into contemporary visual art.

The process begins with the selection of vintage covers that serve as raw material: existing photographs, colours, texts and compositions are reworked, modulated, often fragmented, until they generate collages that oscillate between iconic recognisability and graphic experimentation. Digital art and post-production are founding components of the project.

Graphic Collage_1 is part of the personal, non-commissioned portfolio, and is an example of open artistic experimentation: it shows how visual creativity can arise from reinterpretations, collages and manipulations.

The works created lend themselves to being shown in artistic, editorial and digital-gallery contexts, or used as visual inspiration for brands, designers and creatives.

With this project, Filippo Piantanida Studio confirms its versatility, showing a more intimate, experimental and creative side of its work.
