Mudec

The Mudec project by Filippo Piantanida Studio is a visual and photographic documentation of the collection of the Museo delle Culture in Milan (MUDEC), an institution that houses ethnographic collections and cultural projects connected to the cultures of the world.

The choice of a neutral background and minimal styling allows the piece to emerge visually, while the set design is conceived to guarantee compositional harmony, balanced proportions and a balanced colour palette. Filippo Piantanida handles photography and digital art.

Post-production plays a fundamental role: colour balancing, calibrated retouching, detail optimisation. The result is a series of images ready to be included in catalogues, advertising, e-commerce or promotional materials.

With MUDEC, the studio demonstrates its ability to translate objects into images able to speak for themselves, combining technique, aesthetics and communicative functionality.
