FRP2 - Filippo Piantanida and Roberto Prosdocimo.

The FRP2 "group" is made up of Filippo Piantanida and Roberto Prosdocimo. The artistic research of FRP2 is based on the analysis of a maniacally perfect, symmetrical and precise reality. The expressive coldness of rigour and centrality, in composing the images and installations, gives the works the possibility of not being bound to time and space.

The subjects portrayed with the same principles become aseptic inhabitants of the photographed spaces: they turn into timeless icons, yet extremely real in their expressive force. In practice they tend to deconstruct the image we have of the human being, creating another that is its perfect, ever-evolving mirror.
